While staying in Brooklyn, Amanda and I wondered down to a small park next to the East River. It was pretty surreal to see people fishing with the Manhattan skyline in the background.

These are a few frames of my lovely girlfriend. Just some photos that I’ve acquired over the last 6 months or so.
By the way, besides being a generally great person she is also an amazing photographer, so you should definitely do yourself a favor and check out her blog- http://illuminationsphoto.wordpress.com/

I took this photo last week, when I went to visit my dad in Scottsville, Kentucky. It’s always nice to hear him sing and play guitar because it’s something that I’ve done for my entire life and really hasn’t changed much
.
I met up with Alona earlier this week for a headshot session in Winston Salem, NC. Alona recently graduated from The North Carolina School of the Arts and next week she is moving to NYC to pursue a career in theater. She was a ton of fun to photograph. Special thanks to Austin Joffe for the assist.

I took these photos after waking up from an overnight train ride from Nanjing to Beijing China. We boarded the train at about 10pm. I woke up after a wonderful night sleep (thanks to some delicious Chinese rice liquor) and saw that most of the travelers were awake, looking out the window watching the sun rise.
Last week, a friend of a friend offered to put me and my friend up in Wilmington for the weekend in exchange for me taking a few photos of her kids. I’ll take that deal any day of the week… for now.
Here are a few of the photos…
