I met Wesley in New Orleans. He has a similar story to Alvin and Jerry. His home in the Ninth Ward of New Orleans was destroyed by the flood following hurricane Katrina. Without homeowner’s insurance to help, he tried rebuilding his home by himself, but about halfway through the restoration, he ran out of money. I met Wesley while working on an assignment for Project homecoming, an organization that helps people who’s homes have been destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. The day that I took this photo, him and the crew were putting the finishing touches on his new home.

Andrea & Theresa in Austin
The other day, I FINALLY got around to developing the film I shot back in February of Andrea and Theresa in Austin, TX. Not that I wasn’t trying to get it done but finding time to mix chemicals and purchase all the little knick knacks involved with developing one’s own film is not always easy (plus I just couldn’t give up and send it to the lab). Anyways, enjoy the photos and look out for more black and white film on the blog, developed in a much more timely manner.
